In looking through these photographs I discovered many things which were curious - and a few which could not easily be explained.

For example, in almost every picture you can see two things: very tall poles, almost like masts and a whole series of similar-looking posters plastered on just about every fixed surface. In two other pictures, I found evidence that a hotel which all the contempory sources say was on one street was actually on another. Another picture actually answers an old mystery: what happened to some of Atlanta's fire equipment? And yet another picture poses a truly deep mystery which, in trying to resolve the answer, I could find no informatiion that could explain the clear evidence of the photograph.

Perhaps there are scholars out there who have looked into these matters more deeply than I. If so, I would like to hear from you as to your theories and thoughts - and possible answers to these mysteries.
